2018年6月噶瑪巴自行在紐約Dominick Hotel訂房兩晚預備與鄔幸兒發生性關係，然而鄔幸兒皆猶豫，不願進房，噶瑪巴便施以懲罰，並編造理由趕她回港：「姐姐對你懷疑戒備，你早點回去香港。」由於噶瑪巴的親姐姐長期對於噶瑪巴的女友們敵意甚深，因此噶瑪巴總以此理由訛稱遭到姐姐關切，以黑名單處理「不聽話」的女友。為了使女友們言聽計從，噶瑪巴的操弄手段尚包括：威脅刪除skype等通聯紀錄、強行拿回送過的禮物，哄騙到身邊安排工作，又或者扣上瘋子的大帽子。噶瑪巴經常掛在嘴邊的一句是：「你不聽話」，之後就冷凍關係，不再聯繫。
In June 2018, the Karmapa has booked hotel rooms for two nights trying to have sex with Wu Hang Yee secretly at Dominick Hotel in New York City, yet Wu hesitated and refused to go into his room. Therefore the Karmapa punished her by making up reasons to shush her away back to Hong Kong. He said, “My sister suspects you and it's alert right now so you’d better go back to Hong Kong earlier." Since Karmapa’s sister is always hostile to his girlfriends, he has been using this as an excuse to lie to the girls that he was concerned by his sister. Yet in fact he used this trick to put those who didn’t obey him on his “black list”, pretending it’s his sister’s idea. To make his girlfriends listen to his words and obey him, his tricks included threatening to delete his skype account, coaxing to arrange jobs near him or even scolded that she was crazy and think too much. The words that he used most was, “You don’t listen to me, “and then froze the relationship and stopped contacting. All these shenanigans are emotional blackmails.
